(KSL News) -- An American Fork woman who has been charged with child endangerment has agreed to let her children stay with relatives.

This is in response to an incident last week when the woman's two young sons, ages three and five, were found wandering along a busy street several blocks from their home.

Police say this was not the first time they'd dealt with the children wandering by themselves.

The Division of Child and Family Services is still investigating.
