SALT LAKE CITY -- Utah's Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force accepted a $200,000 donation Monday to help protect Utah children.
"This is a rubber-hits-the-road donation. This is money that actually goes out and does something in our community," said Ken Wallentine, Chief of Law Enforcement for the Utah Attorney General's Office.
The money was raised by donations to the Utah Kids Foundation, and Attorney General Mark Shurtleff gladly accepted the check. He said the money will go directly to putting child abusers and pornographers behind bars.
