(KSL News) -- It was a high speed chase to a dead end today.
Jennifer Lynn Randall was wanted for check forgery. Police say she tried to pass a bad check at a gas station in Holladay last week. Police identified her vehicle and last night a deputy spotted the car at her house.
Before officers could make an arrest Randall took off, leading police on a high speed chase.
Alicia Reeves was outside locking her car when she heard the sirens.
Alicia Reeves, Witness: "As I turned back around, the car was actually behind me and I had to jump from probably the middle of the curb up onto the sidewalk. It was going that fast."
Randall drove to a dead-end circle and got out to run. Officers chased her down and arrestd her.
Randall was booked into jail on charges of forgery and evading police.
