WEST WENDOVER, Nev. (AP) -- The Elko County sheriff's department says the body of a West Wendover man who was reported missing last month has been found.
Undersheriff Doug Gailey says the body of 66-year-old Frayne Shouse was found Wednesday off U.S. Highway 93 about 10 miles south of West Wendover.
Gailey says cadaver dogs from Utah located Shouse's body lying under sagebrush.
The cause of Shouse's death is under investigation and a medical examiner will make an official determination.
But Gailey says exposure may have been a factor because Shouse was wearing only a T-shirt, shorts and flip flops when he left his home Sept. 26 to go to Burger King.
