OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- Police believe a shooting in Ogden over the weekend is gang-related.

It allegedly happened as Richard Anthony Wilkey was watching football with friends Sunday night.

One of Wilkey's friends answered the door when someone knocked. As the door opened, a suspect put a rifle in the room and shot it before the friend could kick the door shut.

The bullet reportedly hit Wilkey in the face.

Police say they have a good idea who may have been responsible for the shooting. They say the suspect and Wilkey are members of rival gangs.

Wilkey continues to receive treatment for the wound and is expected to recover.
