SALT LAKE CITY -- Health care workers around the world are being urged to wear protective masks made by a Utah Company when they are caring for patients with swine flu.

AlphaProTech in Salt Lake City is working around the clock to produce their N-95 masks.

With the rise in H1N1 cases, world health officials have issued recommendations for the masks' use. They filter out most respiratory particles, making them more effective than a regular surgical mask, and can reduce infections in healthcare workers by as much as 60 percent.
