(KSL News) -- A man is in critical condition after his Jeep flipped on Interstate 215 Wednesday morning.
Utah Highway Patrol troopers suspect he fell asleep at the wheel.
Witnesses say he was northbound on I-215 near 4700 South, when he drifted across two lanes and into the center median.
His Jeep hit the concrete barrier, bounced back into traffic, rolled several times and finally came to a stop in the far traffic lane.
He was trapped inside his car and crews had to extricate him.
He was flown to the hospital with serious injuries.
The Jeep hit one car in the accident. The driver of that car is O-K.
Traffic was clogged for about an hour.
