(KSL News) Another close call on the mountains last night.
Four teenagers driving through Big Cottonwood canyon were turning onto an S-curve. Police say their car hit black ice, slid off a ravine and fell more than one hundred feet to a riverbed.
Dep. Robert Burton/ Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office: "The problem with black ice is you don't see it until you feel your tires slipping. You risk the potential of losing control of your vehicle."
Two of them had to be extracted, but nobody was seriously hurt.
