SALT LAKE CITY -- Two people were seriously injured when their car collided with a loaded gravel truck.
Witnesses said the car was speeding down the California Avenue off-ramp of southbound Interstate 215 Monday afternoon and slammed into the truck's second trailer.
A man and a woman inside the car both were seriously injured, but an infant in the backseat was not hurt.
Officials said the truck driver didn't realize he'd been hit until the truck started losing gravel.
