SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- No charges will be filed against the man police say prompted an Amber Alert over the weekend.

The Salt Lake County District Attorney's Office has declined to files charges against 26-year-old Bob Greene.

Police say Greene picked up 3-year-old Kaden Biggs on Saturday, but failed to drop him off at his aunt's house. Authorities issued an Amber Alert, but it was later canceled after they found Greene at his mother's house Sunday morning with the boy.

The Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office says they asked prosecutors to file child-kidnapping charges. But the D-A's office refused.

The Sheriff's Office suggested charges of child and reckless endangerment, but prosecutors also declined to file.
