(KSL News) -- A man out for a morning run in Midvale was hit by a car, leaving him in critical condition at LDS hospital.
The man was jogging down main street in Midvale, just after 7:30 this morning, when he was hit while using a cross walk.
The victim, in his 30's, was conscience and talking when emergency crews arrived.

Midvale police know the driver was making a left hand turn when he hit the jogger, but are still trying to figure out why the driver didn't see the jogger.
Greg Wathen/Murray Police Department:"We know it was early, cold, frost, but that' s still being investigated right now."
Police are still determining if the driver of the car will be cited.
