(KSL News) -- Students started classes today at Brigham Young University's study abroad center in Jerusalem.
BYU had closed the center six years ago when violence between Israel and Palestine became too much of a safety risk.
The Jerusalem Center still has to deal with political unrest and opposition from some Jews.
