SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- Western Governors University says its enrollment has surpassed 15,000 students.
The online university has grown more than 43 percent in two years.
The school offers degrees in business, health care, information technology and teaching.
Patrick Partridge, the school's vice president of marketing, says enrollment growth is happening for a number of reasons, including the economic downturn.
Many students are returning to school in hopes of finding a better job.
