SALT LAKE CITY -- The Dew Tour is returning to Salt Lake City for the third consecutive year.
The world's premier season-long action sports tour announced Wednesday, the Toyota Challenge will be held September 17-20 at the EnergySolutions Arena.
More than 150 of the world's top skateboard, BMX and freestyle motocross athletes will compete in Salt Lake City for the fourth of five events on the 2009 season.
The Gatorade Free Flow Tour (GFFT), the Dew Tour's official amateur BMX and skateboard competition series, will also hold finals during the Toyota Challenge to determine the overall champions in each discipline; skateboard and BMX park and skateboard and BMX vert.
Over 70 amateurs from around the country will be competing, and the winners of each final will earn a pre-qualified spot to compete against the pros at the final stop of the Dew Tour in Orlando.
In addition to the competitions, hip-hop artist, Asher Roth, will headline the Dew Tour's Music Series presented by Verizon Wireless on Friday, September 18 at 9:30pm.
Tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for kids.
