SALT LAKE CITY -- Police arrested a man for chasing cars with a samurai sword.
The Deseret News reports police got a call about the incident at 400 South and 1300 West around 6:45 p.m. Sunday.
Officers arrived, ordered the man to drop the weapon, and he complied. They handcuffed him but he fled. The Deseret News reports it took six officers to catch him and put leg restraints on him.
Officers say 35-year-old Alvin Henson was booked into the Salt Lake County Jail on failure to comply, public intoxication and the surprisingly specific charge of aggravated assault with a large sword.
