(KSL News) A common mistake led to a man's truck being stolen.
The man left his car unlocked and running while he went into a convenience store. A few minutes later, the truck was gone.
But it was his lucky day. Metro gang units patrolling a neighborhood in Glendale pulled the suspect over for a traffic violation around 1300 W. California Avenue.
When they ran the plates, the truck came up stolen. The man was arrested and now faces charges of theft.
