Todd Peers is an artist. He doesn't work with an easel, watercolors and paint. No, his work comes from bricks, stone and mortar. Peers Masonry has established a solid reputation for artistic work on home exteriors, stone and brick sidewalks, walls and other construction projects that need excellent masonry craftsmanship.
Todd, originally from Iowa, was an experienced finishing carpenter working in Utah County. His father-in-law was a mason and had established a strong following in the Salt Lake Valley. Todd wanted to be closer to his family so he moved to Salt Lake City and became proficient in quality mason work. In 1997, he started his own company, Peers Masonry.
Prior to my meeting with Todd, I had seen some work Peers Masonry completed at a home I visited. I was struck by the beautiful, intricate brick sidewalk that used a herringbone pattern. I thought a similar feature would be a great addition to my home so I contacted Todd. Every day I appreciate the improvement his handiwork has made to the appearance of my home's entryway. And after seeing my sidewalk, my next-door neighbor decided that he also wanted the same work done on his property.
The majority of the work Peers Masonry completes is for custom houses. Todd does some work on small commercial buildings, but the artistic aspect of the business is much more conducive for custom homes. His crew is experienced and dedicated to providing complete, guaranteed customer satisfaction.
Todd emphasized that his work and his projects are designed and constructed to last for many, many years and if anything ever needs repaired or corrected, he will fix it immediately. Because of that promise, the vast majority of his business comes from referrals and repeat business from happy customers.
