PROVO, Utah (AP) -- Keena Young scored a game-high 17 points, including 13 in the second half, to help Brigham Young to a 73-to-59 win over Liberty in the BYU Holiday Classic.

BYU used a 13-and-two run capped by a Trent Plaisted free throw to stretch a four point halftime lead to 15 with about 14 minutes left in the game.

Liberty had a nine-and-four run of its own to close the Cougar lead to seven on three consecutive 3-pointers by Tyler Baker and Dwight Brewington, but couldn't pull any closer.

Alex McLean had a game-high ten rebounds and led the Flames in scoring along with Dwight Brewington at 14 points each.
