(KSL News) Two motorists involved in a head-on collision near Tooele have been flown to the hospital, this morning. It took crews more than an hour to get one driver out of his vehicle.
He has since been flown to the hospital. Earlier, Airmed took a female driver to the hospital, as well.
The wreck happened just off I-80 on SR 36 in the southbound lanes.
The female driver apparently tried to avoid hitting the car in front of her, and swerved to the right. Her car slid a little, causing her to over correct to the left and into oncoming traffic.
Both drivers have serious injuries, but troopers say they are not life-threatening.
Authorities urged drivers go through Grantsville to get to Tooele.
