SALT LAKE CITY (AP) -- U.S. Rep. Jason Chaffetz is changing the location of two of his Utah town hall meetings in an effort to more than quadruple the crowd capacity.
The Utah Republican has changed the location of an Aug. 26 town hall meeting from the Jordan Library in Salt Lake County to Elk Ridge Middle School in South Jordan, increasing capacity from 72 to 650.
A Sept. 2 meeting in Fillmore originally scheduled at the county building has been changed to the Old Territorial Statehouse. That move doubles capacity to 350.
Health care reform is expected to be the primary topic discussed at the meetings.
Chaffetz and fellow GOP Rep. Rob Bishop are the only two members of Utah's congressional delegation holding town hall meetings during the August recess.
