Greg Neft Reporting Utahns who knew the late former President Gerald Ford are remembering him as a warm and caring man.
A man who knew the President and his family while he was in his teens says he was just about perfect.
Richard Brown: "He was the constant Eagle Scout."
Richard Brown of Tremonton said this morning on KSL Newsradio's The Doug Wright Show that he thinks of Gerald Ford and has one very warm thought involving his little brother.
Richard Brown: "There he is curled up in President Ford's lap while he was reading the paper."
Dennis Krandell knew Ford as a Secret Service Agent right before he became President. He says he did so much for this country.
Dennis Krandell: "He literally sacrificed himself politically when he pardoned Nixon".
Many say that move cost him the 1976 presidential election.
