OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- A park is seeking the return of a blue dinosaur statue stolen from its grounds.
The George S. Eccles Dinosaur Park says the $500 statue was taken Tuesday morning. It had just been put back in its proper place Monday after some repairs.
Ogden police say a maintenance worker saw the dinosaur Tuesday morning, then noticed it was missing about three hours later.
The dinosaur is about 2 1/2-feet tall and weighs 30 pounds.
Park Manager Kevin Ireland says dinosaurs at the park are paid for by local donations.
