It was a beautiful evening for a concert, if a little breezy, at Red Butte Gardens. Diana Krall is one of my favorite preformers. I've seen her a couple of times now and every time I've really enjoyed it.

Now I know there is a difference between outdoor concerts and those at an indoor setting like Abravanel Hall, but some people just don't get concert etiquette. We were fortunate to be sitting down front but right in the middle of some of Krall's numbers people were up walking right in front of the stage. And a group behind us felt compelled to talk continually during the show. Maybe I'm a little picky but I came to see and hear Diana Krall not the people who were there.
Here are a couple of easy tips: If you must talk, please use your quiet voice, you know the one you use before mommy or daddy smacks you. And if you have to get up for an over priced hamburger or to go to the bathroom please wait until the artist finishes the song. Show some respect for the performer if not the audience. With apologies to Dennis Miller, "That's just my opinion, I could be wrong."
