(KSL News) A West Valley City elementary school went into lock-down today when it got a report somebody was toting a pellet gun.
A second grade student reported seeing a person off campus pointing a pellet gun at kids on the playground.
Children and teachers were told to stay in their classrooms while police searched the neighborhood.
They didn't find anything.
Officers are trying to figure out if, possibly, the student made up the story.
