OGDEN -- A man was hospitalized Saturday night after being stabbed in the face.

Police said the stabbing happened around 9:40 p.m. when a group of people were drinking in a park on 28th Street. The group got into an argument, and one man tried to walk away, Ogden police Lt. Marcy Korgenski said Sunday.
Officers say 51-year-old Juan Delavega stabbed the other man in the face, neck, arms and shoulder with a pocket knife.
Officers responded and took Delavega into custody while the victim was rushed to the hospital.
Delavega was booked into the Weber County Jail on suspicion of attempted murder.
The name of the victim has not been released.
