Utah's Gas Prices Dip Below National Average

(KSL News) Finally, after nearly four months of waiting, Utah's gasoline prices are dropping below the national average.

Accroding to Triple A (AAA), the average price for a gallon of regular gasoline was $2.28. That's one cent below the national average.

The Deseret Morning News is reporting that during the first 11 months of this year, our gas prices exceeded the U.S. average 51 percent of the time.

Still, petroleum officials say Utah will continue to see wild fluctuations in gas prices unless more product is brought to the state.
