Meantime, based on their performances in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, overseas basketball appears to be in the future for Trent Plaisted and Lee Cummard.
Plaisted (who played sparingly for a club in Italy last year before a back injury derailed his season) came off the bench for the Detroit Pistons entry this afternoon, playing just under ten minutes and going scoreless from the field (0/2 fg), while hitting 2/4 ft and adding four rebounds and a blocked shot. But once again, Plaisted had trouble staying on the floor, picking up four personal fouls. In 48 minutes of play in Vegas, Plaisted has been whistled for 12 fouls.

As for Cummard, after a DNP in the Suns' Summer League debut, Lee was scoreless (0/1 fg) in a little under three minutes of play, with a rebound and a foul. He played the least of any Suns player who saw action.
