OGDEN -- An Adult Probation and Parole agent died after crashing his car here, police said.

The crash happened Tuesday on the 1100 block of 24th Street, Ogden police Lt. Scott Conley said.

"The vehicle drifted to the right side, into a parked car and rolled 1 1/2 times," he said.

Rodney George, 62, was unconscious when paramedics arrived. He was transported to McKay-Dee Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

George was a retired Riverdale police officer, Conley said, and was currently employed by the Utah Department of Corrections.

Police were investigating Wednesday whether a pre-existing medical condition George may have suffered from contributed to the crash.

An autopsy is pending.
