(KSL News) Two young brothers in Spanish Fork had a huge birthday party today. The amazing part is they donated all their presents to Toys for Tots!
The party was at local skating rink, and the boys--ages nine and ten-- got to invite anyone they wanted-- more than 200 people in all.
And all the toys that would have been presents for them, will instead go to less fortunate kids.
Garrett Parry/Birthday Boy: "Because there are some people who don't have a chance to have Christmas like we do and I think they should have a Christmas like us."
The idea was their mom's, who was a recipient of a Sub for Santa when she was young. So she asked her sons if they wanted to donate their gifts this year.
Garrett thought it was a cool idea immediately, and it took his brother about 20 minutes to agree.
