PLEASANT GROVE -- Scrapbookers are packing up their photos, scissors and other supplies for a scrapbooking sleepover this weekend in Pleasant Grove.

Event organizer Vanessa Sevy says scrapbookers will meet at the new Pleasant Grove Community Center Friday afternoon and scrapbook as long as they can keep going, or until 9 p.m. Saturday.

Organizers are telling participants to bring their sleeping bags, pajamas and scrapbooking supplies. Of course there will be food and "chick flick" movies to go along with all the scrapbooking.

Sevy says the event is just a way to give ladies a chance to get out of the house and have some fun.

"A lot of women need an outlet to go do something fun. It just gives the ladies a time out," she said.

For those who scrapbook all night long, massages will be given out in the morning.

At-door registration is $23 for both days and $15 for one day. For more information and registration contact the Pleasant Grove Community Center at 801-785-6172.
