This is Fred Ball for Zions Bank, speaking on business.

What started as a small locally-owned tire store in 1967 has grown to become a premier provider for vehicle tire services in Northern Utah. And with the summer travel season in full swing, Tire World is ready to offer any routine tire services you may need to keep your car in pristine condition.

Tire World has two facilities in Salt Lake City that can provide tires for everything from your handcart to your largest construction and industrial equipment. In state-of-the-art facilities, ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certified mechanics employ the latest automotive technology and are equipped to handle all major and minor auto repair services on foreign and domestic vehicles. The company carries trusted tire brands and premium auto parts. Also a certified Napa Autocare and Goodyear Gemini business, most parts and labor are covered by a 12-month/12,000-mile nationwide warranty.

But being one of the biggest doesn't mean the company doesn't care about the environment. President Steven Taylor feels that every company is responsible for taking care of the planet. As Tire World has grown into one of the largest locally-owned service centers, Steven has always been concerned with leaving a smaller carbon footprint. Employees use waste oil heaters, recycle all solvents and coolants and use certified recyclers for tires.

Tire World recently invested in a new technology produced by Tyrfil that is designed to make tires flat proof. Recycled polyfill is mixed with a small amount of virgin polyfill to create a blended tire fill that replaces pressurized air with a soft cushion of polyurethane. Not only does this keep petroleum-based products out of landfills, but it also helps industrial and mining vehicles avoid costly downtime.

Tire World services individual vehicles as well as national accounts and trucking fleets. And with all tire needs, Steven and his staff endeavor to provide only the highest level of customer service.

For Zions Bank, I'm Fred Ball. I'm speaking on business.
