WEST VALLEY CITY -- West Valley City police say the death of an elderly woman who was found in her backyard fish pond is no longer considered "suspicious."

Preliminary results from the medical examiner indicate the woman, identified as 73-year-old Dorothy Gifford, likely died from a medical situation associated with heart problems.

Final autopsy results will not be available for several days.

A man who rents a studio apartment behind Gifford's home near 3200 South and 2860 West found her body Sunday evening.
