PROVO -- History took flight Monday, with a World War II fighter pilot in his 80s in the driver's seat.
Bountiful resident Aldon Rigby flew the only dual-control P-51 fighter plane left in the world from Heber City to Provo as part of the Wings of Freedom Tour.
The tour puts rare bomber and fighter aircrafts on display in an effort to honor the flight and grounds crews that helped preserve our freedom.
If you'd like to see some of the aircraft in the tour, they'll be on display at the Provo Municipal Airport Monday, June 29, and Tuesday, June 30. [CLICK HERE for more information]
