TAYLORSVILLE -- A 2-year-old Taylorsville boy drowned Thursday night. It happened in a neighborhood near 2000 West and 5300 South.
A neighbor was watching the child but somehow lost track of his whereabouts. "It appears we have a small child who got away or out of sight of the caregiver and somehow got into a backyard pool.
An ambulance took the boy to a hospital, but he died a short time later.
