OREM -- There was a symbolic transfer of duties Wednesday in Utah County as incoming President Matthew Holland received the keys to Utah Valley University.

Holland accepted the job in March, while he was teaching political science at BYU.

He replaces William Sederburg who is the state's new Commissioner of Higher Education.

Holland officially starts his new job July 1.
