DAVIS COUNTY -- A 55-year-old Davis County woman was stabbed in her own home Tuesday morning.
Sunset police received the call around 9 a.m. When they arrived on the scene, near 2600 North and 400 West, they found Marva Gunn with multiple stab wounds to the chest.
She was taken to the hospital, where she underwent surgery. She is expected to recover.

Police arrested her brother-in-law, Thomas Gunn, who was recently released from the state mental hospital and was staying with the couple.
