Two 7-year-old boys got an unexpected fright when they found a snake hidden in the couch in their New York home last week.
The snake popped its head out from between the cushions just as the family's toddlers were settling in to do some coloring.
Animal Control officers were called in to capture the snake.
They believe the four-foot long boa constrictor found its way into the home through the toilet or holes in the home's walls.
