NEW YORK (AP) - Authorities said a sport-utility vehicle has plowed out a sixth-floor window in a Manhattan parking garage and plunged three stories onto a neighboring roof. Police said the driver has been hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after the accident around 4 p.m. Monday. It is not immediately known what caused the accident.
Police said a man was parking the white Mercedes Benz SUV in the East 12th Street garage when the vehicle crashed through a large window. He was inside the SUV when it landed.
Officers were trying to remove the SUV from the roof.
