(KSL News) Two former University of Utah baseball players have been arrested for breaking into two cars, including that of former Atlanta Braves outfielder Dale Murphy.

The Deseret Morning News is reporting Tyler Kmetko and Jason Price were booked into the Utah County Jail on allegations of theft and vehicle burglary in the Alpine- Highland area.

Price is also charged with possession of burglary tools, stolen credit cards and drug paraphernalia.

The two were arrested after a tip led police to a van with various items inside, including Murphy's briefcase and scriptures.

These two have been in trouble with the law before. Back in 2004, Price and Kmetko, along with 6 other baseball players, pleaded guilty to defacing the giant block Y above Provo. The group is still repaying nearly $6,300 in repair costs.
