Ed Yeates ReportingOne minute, a thousand dollar tile saw is there--the next minute, it's gone.
But after returning home, Matt Beck quickly reviewed just a few of his eight surveillance cameras.
Homeowner Matt Beck, "all of sudden I see these girls come in and take the tile saw."
Yet another camera shows them carrying the goods to their car.
Camera three shows the car passing by.
Matt Beck: "So I pull it up and I notice there is no front right hubcap." The side mirror was also missing and the rear wheel well was overlapping the tire.
A camera recently installed on a neighbor's house showed yet another view.
And another picked up the rear of the car and a license plate that police later identified.
But the story got even better when Matt was southbound on the freeway near point of the mountain. He looked over on the right hand side and saw the same car identified by the cameras.
Matt Beck: "And I'm saying oh yes, it's the car."
So, from day one surveillance at the house to Matt coincidentally pulling alongside the car a day later as they were returning from pawning the saw, to the final arrest by a Pleasant Grove Police officer which Matt captured on his cell phone camera.
He shook his head and said "I cannot believe this." What are the odds?
Remember those odds burglars - and this scenario.
