(KSL News) A significant amount of marijuana is off the streets this morning and a man is behind bars.
Kyan Nagahi, 19, was driving down Highland Drive with his headlights off and pot in his car.
A Cottonwood Heights deputy pulled him over at about 7350 South and Highland Drive when he recognized the odor of Marijuana. Police found about a pound of pot and a large amount of cash. They also found materials used for distribution, like bags and a scale.
They say it's likely he was involved in some type of dealing.
Nagahi will be booked in the Salt Lake County Jail for possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
