(KSL News) -- Law enforcement agencies around the country are on the lookout for an inmate who escaped the Purgatory Correctional Facility today in Washington County.
It's believed Doyle Dockstader escaped while a guard became distracted helping an injured inmate. He then may have gone over a series of fences with razor wire on them.
Dockstader left wearing a prison uniform.
He has a history of assault, domestic violence and weapons crimes; police consider him dangerous.
This is the first time in history an inmate has escaped Purgatory. It is the same facility where Warren Jeffs is being held.
