Press releaseSALT LAKE CITY -- Starting this week, the Utah Transit Authority is offering a new summer promotional pass for FrontRunner. Available now, the "Party of Four" campaign is a group pass that allows up to four people to ride FrontRunner round-trip for just $10.

The new group pass is valid any day or time that FrontRunner operates, there are no time restrictions. While the group pass can only be purchased at FrontRunner ticket vending machines, it will be accepted as a transfer to bus or TRAX. The pass will be validated by the FrontRunner ticket vending machine, and expires the day of purchase.

"This is a great and economical way for groups to take FrontRunner to all the recreational and entertainment destinations between Salt Lake City and Ogden this summer," says John Inglish, UTA general manager. "For only $10, a group of four can take FrontRunner to Lagoon, Ogden's Salomon Center, to events and activities in Salt Lake City, or just ride the train for fun."

The FrontRunner group pass is being offered on a trial basis through the summer, but depending on its success UTA may continue offering the pass and expand it beyond FrontRunner. For more information, visit www.rideuta.com.
