(KSL News) For today's High Five segment, our Coco Warner surprised a woman staying at the Beaver Valley hospital in Beaver.
Marie Perkins was nominated by her family. They say she is a wonderful example to them and the rest of the community.
Her son-in-law Jeremy Haywood sent us an email describing Marie as a selfless, kind woman who raised her five daughters single-handedly.
She had a stroke in 1992 that's left her partially paralyzed. She's faced some health problems but has managed to keep a great attitude.
Valerie/Marie's daughter: "You have been such an inspiration to all of us. You have been our role model and you are so deserving of this. We love you very much."
Marie Perkins: "This is a wonderful day. I love them all."
