OGDEN -- Two people were injured when a crash sent a UTA bus into the backyard of a home in Ogden.
Ogden police said it happened about 6:30 a.m. near Washington Boulevard and Canyon View Drive. UTA said the bus on Route 645 was just beginning its route when an SUV ran a stop sign and struck the bus.
"The operator applied [their] brakes, the bus went over the median and into a fence and into a residential yard," said UTA spokesman Jerry Carpenter.
The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital to be treated for injuries, police said. UTA said its driver had minor injuries.
