(KSL News) -- Three more Utah ski resorts are now open.
For the first time this season, skiers and snowboarders enjoyed The Canyons and Snowbird today. Alta also opened their slopes to skiers. Brighton, Solitude and the runs at Park City also opened this week. The rest of the resorts have plans to open soon.
Skiers say the snow is thin and not all the runs are open yet, but they're having fun.
"It's a little bit icy but its pretty nice out here. I'm liking it. "
"It was awesome. Incredible. We were shredding it up. Yeah."
Skiers and snowboarders dumped 872 million dollars into Utah last year. More than half of that came from locals.
