(KSL News) -- A driver died today on I-15 in Box Elder County. Chopper 5 caught video of the crash, which happened around noon on the freeway near the town of Willard.
State troopers say the man in this silver car drifted out of northbound lanes and collided with an SUV.
Aaron Beesley, Utah Highway Patrol: "Several other vehicles swerved to miss him, and the person in the SUV was unable to miss him."
The man in the silver car died at the scene. The driver in the SUV was taken to the hospital in serious condition with a leg injury.
Troopers believe the man in the silver car had either fallen asleep or had a medical problem.
