Man accused of child sex abuse on the lam

UTAH COUNTY -- A Utah County man wanted for child sex abuse is on the lam.

Jess Bunker, 30, posted bail March 20 and was released from the Utah County Jail.

Since then Bunker has failed to appear by order of the court and attempts to locate him have failed.

An arrest warrant has been issues for his arrest and the Utah County Sheriff's Office, Pleasant Grove Police Department, the United States Marshals Service and the Joint Criminal Apprehension Team (JCAT) are asking for help to locate him.

Bunker is wanted for 10 first degree felony counts of aggravated sexual abuse of a child and a second degree count of Sexual Exploitation of a minor.

Bunker was last known to live in Pleasant Grove.

Authorities say he has ties to St. George, Salt Lake City and Kentucky.

Bunker has three identifying tattoos:

  • Right shoulder: Skulls and a "US Marine Corp Infantry" symbol wrapped with a horse show and flames
  • Left bicep: "USMC" symbol with a star at both ends with a picture of horse shoe, an eight ball and a red headed female portrait holding a pistol above this symbol
  • Upper back: Five star pentagram tribal wolf head with flames

Bunker is considered armed and dangerous and authorities say he poses a serious threat to society.

Authorities are offering a reward for information directly related to Bunker's arrest.
