SALT LAKE CITY -- Experts who care for the health of children say scary headlines and closed schools may be making some children worried about the swine flu.
Some children may be excited to hear schools are closing, but Children's Center Executive Director Doug Goldsmith says other children may be getting scared.
He said, "Parents and caregivers really just need to provide a lot of reassurance that if they wash their hands, there are a lot of grown-ups working on this problem and they are going to be OK."
Goldsmith says talk about hygiene with kids and focus on the assurance that things should be back to normal soon.
