SALT LAKE CITY -- Deseret Book has pulled all of Stephanie Meyer's "Twilight" books off the shelves.
The popular vampire series is a best seller and spawned a blockbuster movie.
Deseret Book says customers can special order the books, but they will no longer be available in its stores.
A spokesperson for Deseret Book e-mailed us this statement to explain the decision:
"Our top priority is to meet the needs of our customers, who increasingly represent a variety of viewpoints. Like any retailer, our purpose is to offer products that are embraced and expected by our customers. When we find products that are met with mixed review, we typically move them to special order status."
